In a video recorded during a performance in Colorado (USA), Shawn addresses the subject with the audience.
“Since I was quite young, there’s been this thing about my [orientation], and people have been talking about it for a long time. I find it a bit silly, because I think that [orientation] is such a beautifully complex thing, and it’s so hard to put it in boxes,” he said in the clip.
“It always felt like an intrusion into something very personal for me. Something I was discovering within myself, something I still had to discover and still have to discover. The truth about my life and my [orientation] is that, man, I’m just discovering it like everyone else.”
